Cloud Scanner Firefox add-on

Here is a strange item from Bit-Defender.

It is a cloud scanner that runs as an add-on for Firefox.

It is very fast,and will NOT run in sandboxed Firefox.

If not for that,I would rather like it.

(well it will run,but it will load up all of the sandboxed files)

Looks interesting. I'll test it in my VM soon. It will be interesting to see what areas of the computer it scans, whether it scans within archives (doubt it) etc.

By the way, how do you mean it will load up all of the sandboxed files?

Okay, just placed about 30 rootkits on the desktop and did the scan. Nothing was found. I'm guessing this doesn't scan the desktop haha.

Did you see the log folder it also sets in documents and settings?

does that seem right?

Yes I noticed that log folder - can't see anything wrong with that.
