No need to recover your non-bootable OS using dos commands anymore....
You can now enjoy Drive.SnapShot's GUI!

Never use Dos commands. Always use BartPE, which comes with the DS plug-in.

Can you explain what it is you have done here please.

Oh Ok. Good idea. If only Tom E. could be persuaded to create his own boot disk, it would be nice.

I certainly could do with help here. I have the download version of snapshot which offers to create a floppy rescue disk. Who has an A drive anymore? Been trying to copy a back up via windows and it just wont boot afterwards. Everything i read says best restore results are from DOS not windows.

Can u help?

HI AaLF, honeslty,
easiest way is to download HIRENS BOOT CD (its an ISO file)
http://mirror.metrocast.net/hbcd/Hirens.BootCD.15.2.zip
then burn it to disc or USB stick
boot on it
when u see the menu
select Mini Windows XP

once mini windows XP is booted,
double-click on HBCD MENU and then go on Backup

there, you'll see snapshot
