Has anyone tried out Returnil multi-Snapshot?

Post by Danny on 29/7/2010, 23:41

Hello Smile

Has anyone tried out Returnil multi-Snapshot?
Is this software similiar to Eaz-Fix or Comodo Time Machine?

Thanks Smile

As far as I know, it's similar to EAZ-FIX and CTM:

I'd like to know how BlueZannetti from Wilders reacts to this when it's released - he's repeatedly claimed/implied that rollback snapshot technology of this kind is risky business and that he wouldn't use it. But now that it's going to be part of Returnil...

Hi,
The RMS Utility BETA is not the same as EAZ or CTM so will not present as many issues. The installer on the site has been updated with fixes for reported system performance issues when used with RSS 2011 on some systems and now supports 64 bit Windows. The site description may not be updated yet, but will be this coming week.

The major purpose behind the current beta is to get some real-world stress testing for the feature which will be included as a System Restore option in the RSS series. It will not be added to the current RSS as it still needs this crucial step before it can be added to the full product line.

Please let us know your thoughts, feedback, suggestions, and bug reports by sending them to support (dash) tech (at) returnil (dot) com.

Thanks in advance
Mike
