GesWall?

Post by noorismail on 11/8/2010, 01:27

I have used it from time to time, the free version, but to be honest I always go back to Sandboxie.
I normally get a few blue screen errors, probally from conflicts with Returnil,or ShadowDefender.

It is attractive to me as being pretty much "Set and Forget"
(well not really set, just install and forget)

Any ideas Brothers?

I wouldn't recommend GeSWall right now, particularly since development and support seems to be so slow. Apparently the GeSWall forum has been spammed/attacked in the last week, and nothing has been done about it.

However, I think the last version of GeSWall still provides very robust protection (not sure if anything can bypass it even now), even though it was released perhaps more than a year ago.

I'm not sure about "install and forget". I think to use it optimally requires significant configuration, although I'm no GeSWall expert.

Thanks ssj100.
Sandboxie is a day or two of configuration, and saving a INI file.
I guess I will stick with what I know best.
