I had GeSWall installed on my wife's laptop until Tzuk came up with a remedy for the Synaptics issues.

GeSWall seemed to be a very good program (though I never found it very intuitive to set up but that's probably my own lack of knowledge and experience).

Since then I have used Sandboxie on her computer as I have on mine over the past few years.

(Oh, and happy to have joined over here. I was familiar with ssj100 from the Sandboxie forums but found this site by accident while doing some research. I won't have much to contribute but I enjoy learning from you good folks.)

Welcome blues!

With regards to GeSWall, I am yet to see it being bypassed by any of the recent/latest zero-day exploits. It's certainly a very powerful anti-malware application. It will be interesting to see if the 64-bit version runs into the same limitations as Sandboxie etc.

It will also be interesting to see if the developer is honest enough to admit to these limitations (as tzuk and Ilya have been).

Thanks for the welcome.

We're running XP Pro SP 3 (32 bit). If I couldn't use Sandboxie for some reason, GeSWall would be my next choice based upon my prior experience with it.
