Cloak vbox VM from virii

Post by Rico on 1/1/2011, 03:47

This is not exactly the right place to post this question, due to it being about vbox. I have researched that it is possible to cloak virtualbox's prescence from virii and malicious programs running isolated in there. If its not too much trouble, I would like to ask about the exact techniques one should use to achieve that,

This would be of great use especially when testing TDL 4 among many other virii, which has anti- vm capabilities.

PS; ssj, would it be possbile to designate to dedicate a subforum to virtualbox topics? Thanks and HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!111 Wink Razz

Happy New Year Rico! I'll move this into the "Other" sub-forum for now. Cheers mate.

I don't know about VBox, but.. Meriadoc has some instructions for VMware, here.
